What to bring for the first day:

1. Completed Registration form signed on the signature lines
2. Cash, Master Card, Visa, Discover or American Express or check made out to "Cruisin' 2 Driving School" for $300 - Call for class discounts at our Fostoria location
3. Paper and pencil

Scheduling Classes

According to the statues covering Driver's Education, each student must complete 24 hours of classroom instruction, with no one session being more than four hours in duration. This equates to six classes which are four hours long each.

On the first night of class (which is one of the six sessions) we schedule the remaining five classes (four hours each) within two weeks of the first night based upon what is best for the majority of the class members. We believe that this offers the greatest possible flexibility. We do, however, ask that the students clear their calendars as much as possible for that two-week time frame to accommodate scheduling. If, for some reason, the student must miss class, we do provide make-up classes to allow them to finish their classroom assignments in a timely manner. On occasion, the student may make up their missed session(s) during the next month's corresponding class(es).

Scheduling Driving

Cruisin'2 has a very dedicated staff that strives to provide the eight hours of the in-the-car instruction at the earliest opportunity possible. It is our practice to give priority to the oldest students (those who have had their permits the longest and can obtain their licenses first). Near the end of class, we list the students' names on a write-on board from oldest to youngest so that each student can see where they are in relation to the rest of that class. Our instructors will then contact the students in the order listed, working their way down the list. If a student is not able to drive any of the times that a particular instructor has available, he/she will be called again when another instructor has time slots open.

The instructor will call the student to schedule driving dates and times. Further, the instructor will pick up the student at his/her home or at an agreed-upon location.
